Our professional carpet cleaning process is the best and most recommended process available for cleaning and removing allergens from carpet. We include spot removal, deep cleaning, and rinsing every carpet we clean. The only services that are optional and at an additional price are pet odor removal (if you have pet urine spots), light furniture moving, and carpet protector.

What to Expect from Your Carpet Cleaning

Step 1

We use large, truck-mounted steam cleaning units for the finest and healthiest cleaning available. This is the most recommended and best process for cleaning and removing allergens from the carpet.

Step 2

We can move light furniture before and after cleaning such as sofas, chairs, and tables for an additional charge. Please note that we do not move large furniture like beds, dressers, china cabinets, bookshelves, and entertainment centers.

Step 3

Our technicians will put protective guards around each corner of your home to ensure our hoses and other equipment won't damage your walls.

Step 4

We will pre-treat the entire carpet with CRI certified cleaning products to prevent damage to your carpet. Pre-treatment will remove most, if not all, of carpet spots and loosen soil in high-traffic areas. This step prepares the carpet for the final rinsing phase.

Step 5

Option step, normally not needed for most residential carpet cleaning. We can use a CRB (counter rotating brush machine) over the carpet after pretreating and before rinsing the carpet. This machine performs a agitation using two large brushes. This can help remove embedded soil in heavily soiled carpet and will help remove embedded hair for carpet. This is priced separately when requested.

Step 6

After pre-treating, we will use a rinsing agent to thoroughly rinse your carpets using 200 degrees or hotter water. The hot water helps with the cleaning process, removes allergens better, and will dry much quicker than cold water. Most carpet will normally dry in about 2-6 hours. Turning on ceiling fans, running a dehumidifier, and running the HVAC unit will help the carpets dry sooner.

Step 7

Carpet protector can be applied at this time to ensure the your carpet is fully protected.

After your carpet has been cleaned, the job isn't finished.

Step 8

After the carpet cleaning is finished, if we move any furniture for you we will move most of your furniture back to their original positions. We will always put plastic under the legs so they do not come into contact with the wet carpet.

Step 9

If a spot or stain did not get removed completely during the cleaning process, we will attempt to remove the stain by hand. We have a wide variety of cleaners for your different carpets to remove even the most stubborn stains. Please note that not all stains and spots can be removed.

Step 10

Our professional carpet cleaners will perform a post-cleaning inspection to be sure that the job was done to our high standards and your satisfaction. Then, you will receive a breakdown of the condition of your carpet.

Green Carpet Cleaning Available Upon Request

All carpets are rinsed with a very safe rinsing agent. This is done after the cleaning process is complete. So even if you would like us to use our stronger non-green cleaning products they will still be rinsed thoroughly from the carpet.

In our experience green products can be limited in situations where the carpet is dirtier than usual. All of the products are completely rinsed from the carpet leaving no residue behind.

We also offer a pet odor removal system to treat stubborn stains and eliminate odors that have seeped into the carpet backing. Pet odor removal is completed before the carpet is pre-treated. We will do a pre-inspection with a black light and moisture sensor to pick out the areas to be treated.
