At Precise Carpet Cleaning we provide Upholstery Cleaning St. Louis. Most upholstery we see now is microfiber, but we also see leather and some dry clean upholstery. We do clean it all. We do want to point out to our St. Louis customers that some upholstery salespeople may not know the difference between water cleanable and dry clean only upholstery. So it is a good idea to check it out before buying.

About dry clean upholstery fabric.

We highly recommend to stay away from dry clean upholstery unless you absolutely love the pattern it has and are only going to use it a very little. Dry clean only means that it will be damages if any water touches the fabric. It can not be cleaned the way we clean most other upholstery.

Upholstery cleaning for dry clean fabric is performed by hand using a mild solvent bases product. We do not recommend these fabrics. You can check the cleaning instructions prior to buying and make sure they state W for water. So if the instructions state S for solvent, at least know it is a delicate fabric.

For any high use pieces of furniture we would recommend to get microfiber or leather. Leather needs to be cleaned and reconditioned from time to time also.
